Hello Everybody!
We got another set of wonderful news! Every issue of The Romeo Observer from the 1970s is now digitized and made searchable! You can read about how people reacted to major events like the Great Inflation and the end of the Vietnam War as well as local ones like the building of the Amanda Moore and the Hamilton-Parsons Elementary Schools.
And of course, you can also research the women who became the Peach Queens in that decade.
I will make another update when all of the 1980s editions are done.
As of now, we still have the 1980s to the 2000s left to digitize.
You can make an appointment to see these issues by calling (586) 690-4890 or emailing rca@romeodistrictlibrary.
