Mother's Day is coming up. Are you still looking for a gift or something to do? Why not make a dress for and/or with your mom?
In this picture from the May 6, 1971 edition of The Romeo Observer, Laura (age 1 1/2), Lisa (age 5 1/2), and Patti (age 7) help their mom Mrs. W.A. Seyfferth, of Norwich Court in Romeo, with making a dress for the St. Clement mother-daughter fashion show.
Specifically, Patti is preparing the dress with her mom, while her sisters instruct mainly because they have the pattern book in front of them. The photo's description also states that Patti was going to model it for the show.
I hope the dress turned out well, but if not, at least they had some bonding time, which is what most parents wants.
