RCA Photo of the Week - April 6, 2023

Easter is almost here, and some people might be scrambling to do stuff like taking their kids to get their picture taken with the Easter Bunny. Why not dress them up in a bunny costume and get their photograph snapped that way?

The March 31, 1960 issue of The Romeo Observer shows this very photo of a baby in an adorable rabbit outfit as part of an advertisement for Harold's Studio & Camera Shop. It read, "Now, I'm Not Really a Bunny!" The ad went on to proclaim that people should get their photo taken before the Easter Bunny arrives. In addition, it claimed it does "such a good job with pictures of people my size (and older)."

The my refers to the baby in the photograph.

Speaking of which, do you know who the infant is?

Send us an email at rca@romeodistrictlibrary.org or leave a comment if you can identify the child.

In the meantime, have a Happy Easter!
