More Photos in the Archives Catalog!

We have added more photos to the Archives Catalog that you can check out like this photo that appeared in the July 12, 1951 edition of The Romeo Observer!
This photo was taken during a summer recreation program, which was under the direction of Dan Barnabo - Romeo High School athletic director at the time. One of the things kids could do is "fashion unique creations in the high school work shop." Many of them produced "[t]oys, birdhouses and gifts for parents." But don't worry! Care was taken to prevent accidents like the "[e]lectrical equipment [being] handled only by the supervisor, who cuts out whatever pattern the youngsters have marked on the wood."

Do you know who any of the kids are?

Send us an email at rca@romeodistrictlibrary.org or leave a comment if you can identify any of them.

In the meantime, check out the photo and its information at this link!
